Herbology Course

The medicinal and innate healing properties of plants are often overlooked.

That’s why in this course, we will combine theory and practice to master the art of identifying, harvesting, and preparing medicinal herbs to help you develop the skills to create personalized herbal remedies to address a variety of health conditions.

Learning Modality:

  • Online – This is for theoretical lessons where we will meet 3 times a week on Google Class, and have weekly assessments
  • Face-to-Face – You will conduct your internships face-to-face.

Length of Education:

  • This course will take you 3 months before you can graduate as a professional herbology specialist.
  • 2 months of theoretical online learning, and 1 month of face-to-face internship.

  • Course Materials (such as booklets, videos, etc.)

Here is the list of subjects you are expected to learn inside this course:

Students will learn about the origins and development of herbology as a field of study, as well as its underlying philosophy and principles.

Students will learn about the properties and uses of medicinal plants, including their effects on the body, common ailments they can address, and how to prepare them for use.
Students will learn how to create customized herbal remedies for a variety of health conditions, including teas, tinctures, and salves.
Students will learn about the relationship between herbs and other areas of the body, including the digestive, immune, and nervous systems.
Students will learn about the safety considerations and contraindications associated with herbal remedies, including potential interactions with medications.
Effective communication with patients is essential to providing quality care. Students will learn how to communicate with patients, educate them about herbal remedies, and address their concerns.
Herbalists must adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain professionalism in their practice. Students will learn about ethical considerations related to patient confidentiality, informed consent, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Tuition Fee:

  • The price for the courses is not fixed. It depends upon the negotiation with the enrollees and the school.

Requirements:

  • You need to be at least a high school graduate (old curriculum) or K-12 graduate (new curriculum) to enroll in this course.
